Shaaanxo Rainbow Inspired Makeup Look!

Welcome back to my blog! Today I've got a Rainbow makeup tutorial inspired by the look Shaaanxo did in one of her recent videos.
For this look she had quite a big wing which I didn't do because for one I'm not the best at winged eyeliner and I though a smaller one suited me better.
Also, I didn't have the Urban Decay palette she used so I created this look with my e.l.f cosmetics 144 eye shadow palette which I might do a review on.

So lets get into it.
First
My first step was applying my Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation and my MAC prolong wear concealer to high light and then just setting that in place with my elf under eye setting powder and Rimmel stay matter transparent powder.
I also contoured with Hoola, Highlighted with MAC soft and gentle and applied e.l.f studio blush in Peachy Keen.

Second Step
I then put sticky tape at the edge of my eyes so when I applied my shadows it would give them a good shape. I then applied NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk all over the lid so when I apply the shadows they show up extra vibrant. I then grabbed a clean fluffy brush and blended a small amount of Buck from the Naked 1 palette into my crease.

The Palette
This was the palette I used for the look, I am very impressed with this palette but not impressed with how the colors showed up on camera.

Third Step
I then mixed a lime green and a yellow and applied that with a small flat shader brush on the inner third of my eye, inner corner and the inner bottom lash line. Not going above the crease. I packed on the color until I got my desired result.
The colors in the pan didn't show up close to what they actually are!

Fourth Step
I then went in with a electric blue on a large flat shader brush and applied that directly to the middle of my lid not going above the crease. I also packed on this color for desired result.

Fifth Step
Then with another large shader brush I applied a bright and dark purple to the outer third of my lid. I then slightly blended that through my crease. Also packing on this color for desire result.

Sixth Step
I then removed the sticky tape.
Taking the small shader brush taking that color again I blended the lime green and blue together. Then taking the blue on the brush we used and blend the blue into the purple.
Really take your time blending these together.
After that I took Buck again and blended that onto my bottom lash line.

 Seventh Step

Then taking my Maybelline eyeliner I tight lined my top and bottom lash line and smudged out the bottom with my dome smudger brush. Then taking Creep from the Naked 1 palette I applied that to my top lash line with an angled brush and created a small wing.

Step number 8!
Then I applied my Benefit They're Real Mascara and Lashes from Daiso. I previewed these lashes in my last tutorial.

Step 9

For my lips I applied my MUA lipstick in Juicy and then my NYX buttergloss in Eclair.

Here's the final look!
You can defiantly do what she done and do a more dramatic wing. But I preferred a smaller one on myself, completely up to you.

I really hope you enjoyed my recreation of Shaanxo's rainbow makeup tutorial. If you have also recreated this let me know because I'd love to check it out.
Also please leave me any requested looks.

May Favorites!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog. As the title says this is my May Favorites!
A quick note that I have set myself up a little back ground for my pictures, tell me what you think?
Let's get into it.

My first favorite is the Garnier Moisture Match Ultra Rich Hydrating Cream 50ml.
This moisturizer is very thick, and I would advise you to defiantly stay away from this if you have oily skin.
As it states it's for dry to very dry skin, so as I am very dry on my nose and chin this is the only place I will wear this.
Also, it smells divine!

You can purchase this from Priceline for $9.99AUD click photo for link.

Next up we have e.l.f cosmetics baked blush in Peachy Cheeky.
This is the perfect everyday blush!
It applies very lightly but easily built up, what I also love is it's very highlighting and can usually skip using a highlighter when wearing this blush.

You can purchase this from Iherb.com for $3.25AUD click photo for link

My next favorite is the Benefit Hello Flawless Liquid Foundation 30ml
I have very pale skin so I usually opt for the lightest shade which was "Ivory, I'm pure 4 sure"
Although I do with it could have been the tiniest bit lighter to match me perfect it's nothing I can't work with.
I apply this with my Real Techniques sponge and usually only need 1 pump for my whole face and half a pump more if I'm wanting a little bit more coverage.
Overall it's a great foundation.

You can purchase this from Myer for $55AUD click on photo for link

This one is the e.l.f cosmetics single pressed shadow in Oatmeal.
I love wearing this shadow either all over the lid for a very natural look with it blended through the crease.
It's very pigmented and creamy and I'll defiantly be picking up more pressed eye shadows from e.l.f
You can purchase this from Iherb.com for $3.25AUD click photo for link.

Next favorite is the MAC Cosmetics Prolong Wear Concealer in NC15 9ml.
After a long time deciding if I should buy this concealer or not I decided 'Why not?' when MAC had free shipping a few weeks back.
I absolutely love this concealer, as I mentioned before I am very pale and this is the perfect concealer for me!

This is my favorite lip combo! It's my e.l.f cosmetics matte lip color in Nearly Nude and my NYX butter gloss in Creme Brulee
I mostly wear nudes and this combination is what I've been wearing mostly everyday. They are both super simple to apply and it just looks amazing and natural.

Next up is another newish buy and it's the cult favorite, Benefit They're Real Mascara!
I've never used a mascara like this before, the way it separates the lashes and gives them length is amazing. I wouldn't say it give the most volume but it keeps the lashes looking so natural, just emphasized

You can purchase this from Myer for $38AUD click the photo for link

Last but not least we have the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent
This is amazing for setting your foundation especially if you aren't looking for anymore coverage.
I also like to use this under my eyes to set my concealer.

Khloe Kardashian Inspired Makeup Look!!

Hello, Welcome back to my blog.
Today's post is my take on Khloe Kardashian's makeup that she wore for a night out in Paris!
I will start out by saying I don't look ANYTHING like her, I'm actually quite the opposite but this look was only inspired by the make up she wore.

First Step
The first thing I applied was NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Yogurt to the whole lid and blended that in with my finger. I also ran that under the bottom lash line and blended that out also.

Second Step
I then tight-lined my top and bottom lash line and extended it a bit further down on the bottom lash line and then smudged it with my dome/ smudger brush.
Don't worry about this being completely neat.

Third Step
I then applied my Benefit They're Real mascara to my top and bottom lash line and applied these false lashes I got from Daiso.
In her look she has amazing long lashes, and I thought these ones really suited the look.

Fourth Step
I then applied Naked from the first Naked palette (Third in photo) lightly into my crease and then used Virgin (First in photo) to highlight my brow bone.
I then also darken up the tight-line on my bottom lash line.

Fifth Step
For my lips I applied Ruby Woo my MAC and mixed it with Sangria from my Ben Nye Palette to create the perfect dark berry lip.
I did go outside my lip line to create the full lips Khloe has.

My Base
For a flawless base I applied my Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation with my Real Techniques sponge.
I highlighted with my Mac Prolong Wear Concealer and set that with my elf under eye setting powder.  I set my whole face with my elf high definition powder.
She had a very highlighted face, so I mixed my MAC Soft and Gentle and my Elf highlighter in Gotta Glow. I then contoured with my Benefit Hoola Bronzer.

FINISHED LOOK

I hope you enjoyed this look! As you can see it's very simple, easy to do and with such minimal steps!
Let me know if you like it or let me know if you have recreated this yourself.
