Vanity Tour!

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog, as you can tell by the title today's post is my vanity tour! Well it's more like my makeup area, because it's not really a vanity, oh well!
I will be posting my makeup collection at a later date!
Enjoy!

This is the 'overview' of my makeup area, I do also use my laptop on this desk. I got my desk from Kmart for only $29 and it's so perfect for me! My trolley is from Officeworks and it was around $50

On the far right of the desk I keep a very cute Mecca Maxima bag there which actually has makeup in it that I am sending some friends! I then have my Glasshouse candle in Oahu and my Lush Ultrabalm

Next to that I keep my mirror and my makeup brushes, I got the makeup brush holders which are actually tooth brush holders and the mirror from Kmart also. I think the brush holders were only about $3 and the mirror was around $7

I usually always have some sort of pile of makeup on the desk, and these are products that will be in a upcoming blog post!

I also keep my Ipad and Laptop on my desk to communicate with you guys and blog away.

This is also my purple diary I got from Officeworks, I keep on my desk and use it to plan out my blog posts and a Lush magazine that I have been flicking through learning more about their products

This is was on the far left of the desk. The large bag in the background was a gift from the Napoleon Perdis event I attended, a long with some samples on top of those small drawers.
In the small drawers I keep my favourtie lipsticks.
On top of that I also have my bubble gum lip scrub and my hair balm. Next to the drawers is a little bowl with some lip balms and a Ishka perfume.

Lastly, the trolley you see holds all of my makeup. On top of the trolley is a Peg Basket where I keep all my favourite/ most used palettes.

I hope you enjoyed this post, it was something simple but fun and a look inside my makeup area.

How-to Conceal Dark Circles!

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. I've always struggled with concealing my dark under eye circles and making that area highlighted. I recently picked up some new products, had a play around and discovered some products that do the perfect job!

What I used
Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Concealer Primer
Napoleon Perdis Concealer in Mellow Yellow
Stilla Stay All Day Foundation
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla
Bare Minerals Concealer in Well Rested

Now this may seem like a lot of products and you maybe think this is going to turn out very cakey, but if you use products sparingly and only what you need it will look perfect. Let's get into the steps

The first thing I did was apply the concealer primer where ever I was applying my concealer, this primer helps to prevent creasing. Then is a triangle shape I applied my concealer stick and blended that out very softly with my ring finger.
Tip: Apply concealer to the inner corner and and side of the nose right next to the eye to really brighten up the area

This is a picture of the concealer blended out and foundation applied

I then applied a small amount of my NARS concealer and blended that out very softly with my ring finger. In this photo I had not blended the concealer out yet

I then set it all with my Bare Minerals powder and my setting brush.

Today was actually a good under eye dark circles day as they usually are a lot darker. As you can see in this photo the area the area is concealed and a lot more highlighted, I deffiantly look more awake

I hope you enjoyed this post and helped you out!

Big haul! Stilla, Lush, Nyx and more!

Hello and welcome back to my blog!
As some of you may know after my birthday I decided to go on a shopping rampage and I wanted to wait for all the parcels to arrive before I showed you them all some did take longer then expected as I was planning on posting this a week ago.

The first order I received was my ChiChi cosmetics order. I purchased this as they gave me 20% off for my birthday
I have to start by saying how cute is the packaging? Not only of the products but this box it came in!

First product we have is the Chi Chi lip liner in Nearly Nude
I will be featuring this in a future post on how to get fuller looking lips

Next thing I got was a Chi Chi baked eyeshadow in the shade 'Call Me' I'm so inlove with this eyeshadow! It's the perfect shimmery nude and even beautiful used as a highlighter!

Next is the Chi Chi long wearing eyebrow pencil in Taupe/ Blonde. I love this eyebrow pencil and will be doing a review and demo in a future post!

Next is the Chi Chi Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Socialite. I am pretty disappointed though, I thought that this was going to be a very light pink nude when I purchased online and was shocked when I swatched it and it was bright pink! I still think it's absolutely beautiful though!
That concludes my Chi Chi order!

Next thing order that arrived was actually a gift from my friend Monique! She has a beauty Instagram which I will leave the name of at the end of this post!
How she came to sending me this was my local Kmart didn't sell the elf eyebrow kit and iherb was always sold out so she kindly offered to send me one and much to my surprise there was a whole gift inside for my birthday!
It's was so lovely of her, but she should be expecting a parcel in the near future!

Next order to arrive was my iherb order

The first thing I purchased was the elf cosmetics Baked Eyeshadow Palette in California.

The last thing I purchased from iherb was the Real Techniques Your Eyes Enhanced makeup brush set. I have absolutely been loving all the brushes in this set!

Next order to arrive was my Beauty Bay order, I was super super excited for this one!

I purchased the Stilla In the Know and the In The Light palette.
These are so so amazing, and I will be posting a look for each palette in future posts

The last of my orders to arrive was my Ozsale where I purchased some NYX stuff when they were having a 80% sale!

I purchased some of the single shadows and starting from the top going clockwise the shades are, Rust, Champagne, Barely There, True Taupe, Frosted Flake and Charcoal Brown.

I also got 2 long eye liners, although they say they are eyeBROW pencils they are Black and White. I also got a long lip pencil in Auburn.
I also got a Lip Pencil in Hot Red

Lastly I got two Lipsticks on the left is Decadent which is a deep red and Fig on the right which is a sheer bright pink.

From Fridays post you may know I went to Melbourne for a Napoleon Perdis event, beforehand I did some shopping and first off here is what I got from Lush

First thing I got was the BB Seaweed Fresh Face Mask,  this mask has nutritious seaweed, cleansing kaolin, antiseptic honey and rose absolute and is meant to cleanse, soften and beautify.
Suitable for all skin types and is 75g

Next purchase which is a lot of peoples favourite and it's the Bubblegum Lip Scrub. This is actually made from castor sugar and I think it would be easy to make some thing similar at home yourself.
25g

This one I was so excited to try when I saw it and it's the Shine So Bright Hair Balm For Split Ends, so like a lip balm but for your hair!
I think it's so cool and can't wait to try it out.
10g

Next purchase was the H'suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment. This is a protein treatment so more specifically for very dry and damaged hair. It has ingredients such as Eggs, Bananas, Avocado and Extra Virgin Olive oil.
Apply and leave in for 20 minutes before Shampooing and Conditioning
This purchase was actually for my boyfriend but I think I'll be able to get some uses out of this too. It's the Ultrabalm! It's main uses are Restoring, Soothing, Protecting, Relieving and Moisturising
I did read in their magazine you use this to flatten fly aways so your hair is some or to put your eyebrows into shape.
It really is a All Purpose Balm
45g

The last purchase was the Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly! They describe it as being a 'Party in a pot'
It has Cherries, Coconut, Jelly and Sparkles.
I'm so so excited to use this!
100g

Now what I purchased from Mecca Maxima

I purchased the Bare Minerals Concealer in 'Well Rested' I have already tried this out and I love it so much!
Next up is something I knew I was going to get no matter what is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla.
It's the perfect shade for me and covers up everything I need covered, even my dark under eyes.

I did get two samples, first one on the left is a sample of the NARS Sheer Glow foundation, I also already tried this out and I know for sure I will be ordering the full size!
The next is a sample I got with my purchase and its the Dr. Brandt Face Cream
