Super Easy Winged Liner and Red Lips!

Hello and welcome back to my blog!
I recreated a very simple winged liner and red lip look for today's post. From someone that sucks at winged I think I did pretty good.
If you would like to see a detailed, step by step post on doing the winged liner let me know!

The first step for my eyes was blending Buck from the Naked 1 Palette (top) into my crease with a fluffy brush and then patting it over my lid with my finger.
Secondly I took Dust from the Naked 3 Palette and patted that over Buck and blended it out
I then highlighted my brow bone and inner corner with Strange also from the Naked 3.

For the winged liner I used my Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner with my Real Techniques liner brush.
This is the most amazing brush to apply liner with, because it's quite longer them most it's easy to get a good straight line.
If you want to see a more in depth tutorial on how I do my winged liner let me know!

I pushed Creep from the Naked 1 Palette into my tight line and ran it over my bottom lash line.

I then applied one coat on the I love extreme mascara then another coat of the Benefit They're Real

I lined my lips with the Essence Lip Liner in Femme Fatale and filled them in and then went over that with Ruby Woo by MAC

For my base I used Stilla Stay all day and Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer!
I contoured with Hoola, used MAC MSF in Soft and Gentle and applied Elf blush is Tickled Pink.

  Finished look!

I really hope you enjoyed this very simple look!
If you have any requests please let me know!

June Beauty Favourites 2014

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! I hope you all had a great weekend!
Today's post is my June Beauty Favourites, I was going to do my favourites of everything from shows and music, so if you want to see that let me know! Let's begin.

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle
I feel back in love with this product this month! It's an absolute beautiful highlight for the cheekbones but I also love it all over the lid and on my Cupid's Bow!
If you haven't tried this I recommended you to jump on it! You won't be dissapointed.

MAC Lipstick in Snob
I got this for Christmas from my boyfriend and I wore it for a few weeks straight and then opted for other lipsticks, but again with this I fell back in love with it and it's been my everyday lipstick for this month!

elf cosmetics Eyebrow Kit in Ash and ChiChi Eyebrow Pencil in Blonde Taupe

These are both new products in my collection and I am obsessed with them both! They are both as equally as good, I get a more natural look from the elf kit and a bolder brow with the chichi pencil!
They are both ridiculously cheap and recommend them both!
The only problem is decided which one I want to use

Chi Chi Cosmetics Baked Eyeshadow in Call Me

I'm in love! Like my Mineralize Skin Finish I can wear this as a highlight and also amazing all over the lid! It's super pigmented, so if you are looking for some highly pigmented afforadble go and pick up some of these bad boys.

Zazi Minerals Brush
This brush is meant for apply their mineral foundation which it is good for but I tried it with my liquid foundation and it buffs it in flawlessly. I new favourite brush to apply my foundation.

Stilla Stay All Day Foundation in Bare
This is pretty new to my collection also, it gives me a flawless matte finish. It's been my absolute favourite and has taken over my benefit hello flawless, although I still love that one this has been my favourite this month.

Elf cosmetics High Definition Under Eye Setting Powder
Hands down best product for setting under my eyes. Under my eyes crease so easily and this helps them not to so much. It's also super brightening which is another plus for me!
This also is a ridiculously cheap product that's amazing!

MAC Pan Shadow in Naked Lunch
I placed this all over my lid a few weeks back and I was so amazed! It's so perfect. Although you can slightly see it's pink in the pan in comes off a lot more pink blended onto the lid.
Gorgeous everyday eyeshadow!

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe
This is also a fairly new product in my collection. I bought this because I remembered seeing someone use it on their eyebrows so I noun I'd try it and, I was surprised that it actually looked good! But I've been using it for what it's meant for, a shadow. I love it blended through the crease and over the lid.

That's all for my June Beauty Favourites, and again if you are wanting to see my favourites in general like the shows I've been love to the music or even food! Let me know.
Let me know what your favourites are or if these were in you're favourites for June.

Orange Lips Makeup Tutorial!

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! I was meant to post this yesterday but I was super busy but here it is!  Today's post is a Bright Orange Lip makeup tutorial!

Firstly I'll tell you what I used on my face and brows

For my foundation I used Stilla Stay All Day and applied MAC Prolongwear Concealer under my eyes, forehead, down my nose, Cupid's bow and chin.
I set under my eyes with the elf cosmetics High Defenition Undereye Settin Powder then the rest of my face with the elf cosmetics High Definition Powder. The photo I had my inspiration from, the lady had quite pink flushed cheeked so I apply my elf cosmetics blush in Tickled Pink highlighted with MAC Soft and Gentle and contoured with Hoola Bronzer

Eyes

My first step was apply a light matte brown through my crease with a fluffy brush, I used 'Naked' in the first Naked palette.

I then used Haux from my Custom MAC palette and blended that lightly over my lid and crease!

After that I went in with Darkhorse from the first Naked Palette and darkened up the crease and blended on my bottom lash line.

I then highlighted with Virgin from the first Naked Palette and used Creep to line my top lash line and create a wing. I ran that slightly under my bottom

Next I applied a generous amount of They're Real Mascara.

For lips I applied Ben Nye lipstick in Poppy and mixed that with my Australis Velourlips in RIO-D

 Finished a Look

Also, my neck and chest are blotchy because I'm in the process of getting rid of fake tan!
But I do hope you liked this look! It's super easy to do and great for everyday if you love wearing bright lips!
Let me know if you like bright lips or use #aprilleebeauty if you recreate this so I can check it out!

Top 5 Maybelline Products

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. I hope you had a great weekend!
I thought for today's post I will share with you my top 5 Maybelline products. If you would like to see my top 5 products for any other brands please let me know

I will start off with the face products and my first favourite is the Superstay 24hr Foundation. I've been using this for a few years now and it's never dissapointed me. I don't have my exact shade right now as a bought a darker one when I had a fake tan. The shade in the photo is 'Nude'
It is quite a medium to full coverage foundation. You won't get a sheer finish with this. It's retails for around $20 and I usually purchase it from Priceline

Next face products is the FitMe Concealer in the shade 'Light' I use this concealer my under eye area and spot concealing not so much highlighting. It's very creamy and not thin and watery like Max pro long wear as such.
It's got an awesome coverage and doesn't crease under my eyes at all. It retails for around $14.95 and I usually get this from Priceline also

Next three are all eye products and I'll start with the Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara. This was my go to favourite mascara until I discovered some more. But it's still there in my top 5 mascaras! It works amazingly on thickening and lengthening but it does an average job on separating the lashes. If your looking for a great reasonable priced mascara try this one out! It retails for around $19.95 and yet again Priceline is the place to go!

Now I may have cheated a little bit for this next one as I couldn't choose between my Eye Studio Gel Liner or my Color Show Khol Eyeliner, soooo I chose both!
They are both super soft and creamy and amazingly easy to apply. They are also really nice to apply and smudge out for a softer look.
You can pick them both up from Priceline. The gel liner retails for around $16.95 and the Pencil $9.95

The lucky last of my top 5 is everyone favourite Maybelline Color Tattoos! These are amazing and most people will agree with this. They are so creamy and blendable. Hands down they are the best drugstore cream shadows by far.
Their color range is amazing, I just wish they would stop bring out new ones and taking them away again!
These retail for $11.95 at Pricline

           Now for some honorable mentions!
  • Falsies Mascara
  • Master Precise Liner
  • Instant Age Rewind Concealer
  • Instant Age Rewind Primer
I really hope you liked today post and I hope you enjoy these products too! Let me know what your favorite Maybelline products are and if you want to see this for any other brands!

Purple Eyes, Purple Lips Makeup Tutorial

Hello all and welcome back to my blog! HAPPY FRIDAY!
I thought I would post a make up look for today's post as I haven't done one in a while and I really wanted to try out my chi chi shadows so I created a purple eye and purple lip look!

I'll firstly talk about what I used on my face. I wanted to have a flawless finish so I used my Stilla Stay all day and my MAC pro longwear concealer and then I set that with my Rimmel Stay Matte powder in Transparent.
I contoured slightly with my Hoola Bronzer and applied my elf studo blush in Berry Merry.
I highlighted with a Chi Chi eyeshadow that I will show in the next photo.

The first step was apply this Chi Chi baked eyeshadow in Call Me all over my lid. This is also what I used to highlight my face.

I then took my other Chi Chi baked eyeshadow in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and blended that through my crease and on my bottom lash line.

I then went in with Hustle from the first Naked Palette and darkened up the crease. I then applied my Maybelline Eye Studio gel liner with a small flick. I then actually smudged it out a bit for a softer look and applied more Chi Chi shadow in Call me to the center of my lid.

I then generously applied 2 coats of my They're Real Mascara

For my lips I firstly applied a nude lipstick to blank out my lips and then went it with my purple lipstick which was Ben Nye Lipstick in Sangria. Applying the nude base made in a really vibrant purple.
FINISHED LOOK

This look is super super simply to create, the eyes aren't too much and it really focuses on the lips.
I absolutely love it and I think it's great for winter/ autumn.
I hope you enjoyed it and look forward to you reading my next post on Monday!

18th Birthday Hair, Makeup and Outfit

Hello and welcome back to my blog!
As some of you may know I had my 18th birthday last week and I went out for dinner with my family and close friends. I thought I would show you how I dressed up!

HAIR
For my hair I did a messy side bun. I thought it looked quite pretty and suited the dress a lot.
I left some bit out to frame my face.

MAKEUP

I also went very simple with my makeup, the star of the show was Bad to The Bronze a Maybelline Color tattoo all over the lid with Elf mineral shadow in Sassy blended over that.
For my lips I wore Chi Chi lipstick in Centrefold and Nyx buttergloss is Eclair

OUTFIT

If you are wanting to know where I got my dress is was from StFrock and my belt was from Dissh boutique!
I did end up ironing my dress cause as you can tell by the photos it was very crinkly.

This was a very quick post unfortunately I've been a bit tied up in a few things but I have LOTS of exciting post planned for you guys so please keep an eye out for them!
Thank you for reading
